These Terms of Service ("Terms") are entered into between you and Plain Potato (d/b/a What's My Saju; "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the WhatsMySaju service (whatsmysaju.app). By accessing or using WhatsMySaju, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
WhatsMySaju is an AI-powered personality and fortune analysis web application based on the Korean Four Pillars system (사주/Saju), a traditional East Asian framework similar in concept to Western zodiac signs or MBTI personality typing. The service offers three main features: Saju Readings (personality analysis), Compatibility Readings (relationship analysis between two people), and Yearly Fortune Readings (annual forecast). All readings are algorithmically generated and provided for entertainment and self-discovery purposes only. They should not be relied upon as professional, medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account immediately.
You may begin using certain features (such as generating a free Saju reading) without creating an account. In this case, a temporary anonymous session is created to store your data. To access premium features, you must sign in with a verified account (e.g., via Google or Apple). Upon signing in, any data created during your anonymous session will be transferred to your authenticated account.
Tteok is a digital product delivered instantly upon purchase. Spent Tteok is non-refundable. Unused Tteok may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, and refunds are available for verified technical errors. For full details, please see our Refund Policy.
All readings — including Saju personality readings, compatibility analyses, yearly fortune forecasts, and free fortune previews — are generated by artificial intelligence powered by third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic). While our system is designed around traditional Korean Four Pillars principles, the results are algorithmically produced and may not reflect the interpretation of any specific human practitioner. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any reading. You use and interpret the readings at your own discretion.
Certain features, such as yearly fortune previews, are generated automatically at no cost to provide a summary of your reading. These free previews are subject to rate limiting to prevent abuse.
All content, branding, design, and underlying technology of WhatsMySaju are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may share your personal reading results (e.g., via screenshots or share cards) for non-commercial purposes, but you may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute the service's content, design, or algorithms for commercial use without our prior written consent.
We collect and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service. By using WhatsMySaju, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.
You may delete your account at any time through the account menu in the app. Upon deletion, all your personal data — including Saju readings, compatibility records, fortune readings, and purchase history — will be soft-deleted and become inaccessible immediately. Soft-deleted data may be permanently purged from our systems after 30 days. Account deletion is irreversible; any unused Tteok balance will be forfeited.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. If we discontinue the service entirely, Section 4 governs the treatment of any remaining Tteok balance.
WhatsMySaju is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the service, reliance on AI-generated readings, or any unauthorized access to your account.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea. If your purchase is processed by our payment partner (Paddle.com), the purchase transaction itself may be subject to Paddle's own terms of sale.
